Billerica Youth Soccer Association (BYSA) is a private, non-profit youth sports organization based in Billerica, MA. We provide programs for over 1800 players from Pre-K to 12th grade focused on the development of soccer skills for the youth of Billerica.

We strive to develop good sportsmanship, fair play, and a lifelong love of soccer in our players and families. Our organization exists to provide opportunities for our players and coaches to develop technically, mentally, and physically on the soccer field.

BYSA is a volunteer run organization, with more than 150 adult volunteers holding positions from board level to parking attendants. Without them, BYSA would not exist. Please consider volunteering - there are plenty of jobs that need doing, both big and small - it's the only way BYSA can continue it's mission to help the youth of Billerica!

Proposed 2026 bylaws

The BYSA Board of Directors has approved the following 3 documents for public review:

BYSA Constitution

BYSA Bylaws

BYSA Operations Manual

The purpose of these new documents is to align with the current standards put forth by Mass Youth Soccer for the organization and documentation of soccer organizations within the state. This process also allowed the Board to review current processes and standards and align them with current best practices and guidance from the US Soccer Federation, US Youth Soccer, FIFA, and Mass Youth Soccer, along with laws and regulations from both the Federal and state levels.

The Constitution and Bylaws document will be brought forward to a special AGM vote for approval. A date will be sent to all eligible voting members - coaches, asst. coaches, board members, and referees 18 or older.

Once accepted, the Operations Manual will become the working document for operational activities, and is maintained and updated as needed by the Board.
