Donations Wanted - Cleats 4 Kids

Carol MacLeod and her family are, for the second year in a row, collecting new and gently used soccer equipment. Carol is a former board member, and active coach of a U12 and U14 team in town.

Please read the details below, and help support this cause if you can:

Cleats 4 Kids is a program that accepts soccer equipment to be donated to young athletes in need so we can all play the game we love. We feel every child should have access to sports equipment.  However, there are many kids that cannot afford these items that we take for granted.  Sports build character and help develop a child’s confidence and we want to play a part in making a difference.  Soccer means a lot to us. The game has led us to great friendships and has taught us so many life lessons on and off the field.

Our family has decided to initiate this program within BYSA and we would greatly appreciate all your support.

We will be collecting gently used soccer equipment.

  • Equipment should not be ruined, torn or excessively dirty. Having used gear is better than no gear at all!
  • We will take anything a soccer player can use - jerseys, shorts, socks, cleats, balls, bags. Jerseys do not have to be in a complete set and it is ok if there are logos or numbers.
  • Equipment will be shipped to Haiti and inner cities within the US.
  • There is a drop off box located at 27 Moran Rd. Billerica. All donations can be left on the front porch in the bin. If there is no bin you may leave right on the porch.

Thank you for your support
