Recently, BYSA accepted a donation of 2 AED (Automated External Defibrillator) machines, for installation at the VVP and Akeson fields.
Jim O'Connor, a BYSA parent, works for a ZOLL Medical, and noticed that we did not have any of these life saving devices at our fields. His company has a employee purchase program, so he and his wife Brooke purchased 2 units, and presented them to the BYSA Board on May 15th during our meeting.
We will be working to install these devices as soon as possible, in the hopes that we never have to use them, but with the comfort of knowing they are there.
Thank you to the O'Connor family for your generous and thoughtful donation.
