Success for BYSA Alums

We have a few former BYSA players that are playing a very high level of soccer right now. Check out their stories below!

Ryan Jacob

Ryan is currently playing for the 2006 Boston Bolts US Soccer Development Academy Team.  Ryan tried out against a large pool of elite talent and was very excited to be selected to play at such a high level. He trains 3x a week and will be traveling to Florida in December to play in the AS Roma Showcase. He has the opportunity to be coached by professional players.

Ryan hopes to continue with the Academy through High School and play D1 in college. Anyone who knows Ryan can attest that he has put in the work to get where he is. I don’t think you ever see Ryan without a ball attached to his foot. Best of luck kiddo!!!

Marco & Teo Cugno

Marco currently plays on the NEFC 2004 Development Academy team and has a goal against average of 1.0 for the season and best outing was against the 2004 US National Team North East/NY where is team beat them 3-0. Marco met Coach Ed Kelly from BC who said “I love the way you play!” Marco will be Coach Kelly’s guest next Friday night at the BC vs Syracuse game.

Teo is playing for the 1999 GPS Elite Team playing in the NPL/ECNPL and is currently ranked # 22 in the country. Teo plays center, left and right forward. He is also currently a captain at Billerica Memorial High School playing with his brother Cristian who plays for the GPS North Elite 2001’s.  Good soccer genes in this family!!! Way to go boys!!!
